Directed by Ali Ali and Ahmed Tahoun of Good People Films, the campaign exaggerates all the clichés of an influencers social media feed; the extensive outfit for the gram, taking food selfies, traveling not so light (you know the rest), all while celebrating the non-influencer. A selection of key visuals by Toiletpaper’s Pierpaolo Ferrari and Maurizio Cattelan – which include Diesel’s watches and eyewear categories – complete the message. Multiple episodes show these Insta-famous people in awkward situations — followed by a clip of those effortless, living life to the fullest in Diesel’s iconic denims.
