Mocking the meat it feeds on PREMIERE: Bianca Di Cesare "Green Eyed Monster" Los Angeles born singer/songwriter Bianca Di Cesare has a big year ahead. Her first solo EP is geared for a Spring 2015 release, and today we premiere the video for her single “Green Eyed Monster.” Telling us about the new song, Bianca remarked: “I wrote and composed the song on my guitar on a day that I felt a lot of criticism coming my way. It is about the feeling of being shut down by the ones you love the most.” She spent fifteen years of her adolescence in Rome, attending high school and college, and did not reabsorb into Los Angeles until her twenties. Having spent such a crucial period of her life on the continent, she credits a lot of her development as a musician to the European milieu: “I feel like the culture that I studied in high school and college in Rome made me very sensitive to history, literature, and poetry.” The Shakespearean influence is apparent in “Green Eyed Monster” which harks from _Othello_. O, beware, my lord, of jealousy; It is the green-ey'd monster, which doth mock The meat it feeds on. Bianca will have a live performance debuting “Green Eyed Monster” on May 11th at the Hotel Cafe, Los Angeles. Film clip directed by Loris Lai. Written by Kyle Purdy.
