Flaunt Premiere | machineheart, "Who Said"

by Morgan Vickery

Ethereal indie pop band, machineheart, is the Los Angeles-based quartet crafting hauntingly melodic music. Reminiscent of a young Stevie Nicks, frontwoman and muse, Stevie Scott is the magnetic force of the group; rounded out by Harrison Allen (drums), Carman Kubanda (electric guitar) and Jake Randle (bass). As a collective, their electrifying charisma and eerie composer prompts an ongoing fascination. Today, the mystic four-piece release a nostalgic single, “Who Said,” set to open their full-length debut ‘People Change’ out February 8th.

"The first time we heard the song in its final form, we all had tears in our eyes,” Stevie explains. “It really transports you to another place, like you’re floating through space and time endlessly. There's an otherworldly element that feels very spiritual too. It's the kind of song you want to listen to with your eyes closed, laying down on the ground alone in your bedroom."

The divine quadrivium confirms their emotional depth and instrumental experimentation in the four songs released from ‘People Change,’ enthralling the LA indie-pop community. While the group is leading a cutting-edge sonic persona, it’s just the start of their musical endeavors. To keep up with their supernatural impressions, look out for machineheart's North American tour starting February 21st.
