The fighting man—part of our 10 act musical dramedy

The fighting man puts his dukes up to show his enemies what’s what. He stands up for what he believes in, and what he believes is fighting for what he believes in. He epitomizes masculinity, generally, and goes alone on his way after the—just kidding he totally swoons the nearest broad.
In the case of Hamza, the Brussels rapper fights to be recognized outside of his native Belgium. So far so good. Hamza iz bombastic. He sings and raps to equally volatile trap beats. His most recent release is the mixtape _H24_. Inluenced by Young Thug and the current wave of Atlanta rappers, Hamza is representing a corner of the hip hop (that is French-language hip hop) that has nary been heard on a large-scale. On _H24_, Hamza spits through 24 separate tracks, and even if you can’t understand, _you understand_. But if you need a translation, one of the stand out tracks “Feu,” has a chorus that says it all: “I put the re on you/may God forgive me, may God forgive me/may God forgive me, may god forgive me.“ Fight on, brother.
**Tell us about a memory that takes you back to the good old days.**
I don’t remember a special moment but when I was making music with my cohorts we were having fun.
**What is the sound for good times? What is the sound that conveys sadness?**
The sound of a woman screaming my name when we are having some good times. When my iPhone falls on the ground, the sound is very sad!
**When will the good times end?**
Still haven’t ended...
**What are you bringing to the fête?**
Broccolis, they say it’s good for my health.
**What would you do if music died before you were born?**
I would invent music.
**How do you hope your music influences listeners’ actions?**
Give them the opportunity to take them away from the daily hustle and bustle and let loose the juice.
