Miynt premieres her newest, self-produced single “Vacation with Bond in south of France part 2,” the first track released from her second EP set for a summer 2019 release. The track is accompanied by a music video.
“Vacation with Bond in south of France part 2,” features many of the same aspects which has characterized her sound. The song is a melding of psychedelia intertwining with garage rock. The video features a clip from a high-diving competition, slowed down and remixed to match the song. As far as where the specific title comes from, Miynt says it derives from an inherent love for Bond films.
“I’ve always been inspired by early Bond movie theme music, so I wrote a synopsis for a Bond movie that never existed,” Miynt says. “I wrote all the music for this fake Bond movie but this is the only track that made it on this EP, which is about Bond’s 2nd trip to south of France.”
Hailing from Stockholm, Miynt first made waves when she dropped her first project _Ep. No 1_ back in 2016, grabbing the attention of music bloggers across the internet. Her EP is set for a summer 2019 release via B3SCI records and boasts mostly live-recorded instruments. The project is mostly produced by Miynt and is mixed by Jake Aaron who has worked with Snail Mail, A$AP Rocky, and Solange.
