You may recognize him for his character Cory In The House on Disney’s hit series _That’s So Raven_, ensuing instant nostalgia taking you back to your childhood memories from watching this hilarious show. This year, the cast celebrates their 18th anniversary, with him and Raven remaining close friends to this day. Fast forward to today, the 29-year-old is staying busy as ever, even stepping into the entrepreneur role with his investments in the live streaming industry. Most recently, he returned to television, this time stepping into the leading star role for new comedy sitcom _Millennials_ on AMC Networks’ newly rebranded Black streamer [ALLBLK](https://allblk.tv/). Additionally, Kyle has his new movie titled [_DUTCH_](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOPF-7gvBtY) out now, and is planning on putting out new music in the near future. _Flaunt_ caught up with Kyle via instagram Live, while posted up at his home in Atlanta. Read below as we discuss his roots in Atlanta, starting his acting career at age 7, _That’s So Raven_ days, starring in his new sitcom _Millennials_, new movie _DUTCH_, who he’d like to work with, Justin Bieber’s support, and more! How was All-Star?** All-Star was lit, lit, lit. Big lit, we went to a bunch of parties. It was $350 to get into this one club, obviously we didn’t have to pay. That’s what they’re charging people at the door: $350 for men, $150 for girls. It was crazy. **What club is that?** It’s called Buckhead Saloon. It was super lit. That’s the night Tory Lanez popped up on my story. I hadn’t seen Tory for a minute. **Y’all known each other for a minute?** Yeah, for a few years now. It’s crazy because time goes by so fast. **How do your roots in Atlanta play into your life and career?** It's been very important honestly. A lot of people need another place to escape. Hollywood’s a great place but sometimes there’s a reason to depart from it. The Hollywood scene can get a little overwhelming so it’s good to have a home to go to and rethink, gather your thoughts. **18th year anniversary of _That’s So Raven_, how does that make you feel?** It’s crazy man, crazy to think that much time has gone by. 18 years, crazy to think it’s been that long. It’s a blessing though, another milestone reached.  **You were only 7 years old when that show started. What was Kyle like then?** I’ve been the same my whole life, that’s one thing about me. That’s the good thing, nobody can say “Kyle got famous then changed.” I’ve been the same the whole time, anybody that knows me. The same me, just younger.  **Fondest memories from those days?** Having lunch with Raven. Parking stories. I’ll never forget the girl who plays Chelsea. One day she came into my dressing room crying because she crashed into our car. She was a really bad driver, she smashed into our car 3 separate times. She used to come to the dressing room crying, it was hilarious at the time.  **Talk about being best friends with Raven after all these years.**  Me and Raven are super tight. She’s my first friend in Hollywood. She’s family. I’ve known her for 21 years now, going on 22.  **How often do you rewatch it?** I watched 4 episodes of That So Raven about a month ago. It brought back some crazy memories. It’s wild, crazy to think that it’s been that long.  **Now shifting into this new sitcom you have called _Millennials_. How excited are you?** I’m really excited. We’re officially at 5 million views, it’s exciting. I’m really excited to be on a #1 hit series and show the adult side of me. I’ve been on TV my whole life, but I've always played a child and never in an adult capacity. This is really a different path in my career so it’s exciting. To celebrate this milestone, I got my first tattoo.  **When’d you get it?** I got it when I was in LA. YouTuber Taylor Holder did it. It says “patience,” because I’m learning to be more patient and I need people to be more patient with me. **That’s your first tattoo ever? Did it hurt?** A little bit. You can’t see it from the front or the side so when I walk the red carpet, I’m good. **What was it like working with the cast especially during Covid?** The shooting process was crazy. I grew up on TV and this was the first time I couldn't have lunch with my castmates. The first time I couldn't go into their dressing rooms. The standard’s been altered for Hollywood, it was different to be on set during the pandemic. We got through it though. We wore our masks, everyone had to wear this little plastic covering and a face mask on top of it. Only the directors could come talk to us. **Everyone in the comments keep saying _Cory in the House_!** _Cory in the House_ was a blast, that was cool. One of my best memories from _Cory in the House_ is the fact it’s one of the most famous animes of all time. Get your screen recording ready, I’m saying it right now. _Cory in the House_ is an anime, it’s always been. Jokes on all you guys that thought that it wasn't anime. **In _Millennials_, you play a business student named Omar who wants to make it big in the corporate world while encouraging his friends to get their lives together. How much does this relate to your real life?** There’s certain elements of my character I share, but I never try to embody unless it really requires that. I try to bring the best out of my character, but we share some similarities. We’re both focused on money and working hard to make our way up the ladder. Always trying to pick up the pieces that people around me are leaving. **Coming up, did you anticipate you would be here where you are now?** I never in a million years thought I’d be where I am. Really, it’s awesome to have a career. It’s crazy to think that it’s been 20+ years, and starring in a new show is a blessing. **What can we expect from _DUTCH_ coming out in select AMC Theaters.**  We had a full-blown movie premiere, we had popcorn and everything. It was really good. Here’s some of the merch. \[shows t-shirt\] That’s Gunna, he acts in the movie and does a great job. That’s why him and Young Thug were at the premiere. **Someone said “your mama was dressed so fancy to go on a date with you, you 2 are the cutest.”** That’s always my date. She’s my #1 date. You guys are going to see me with an afro, it’s a real one too. It’s gone now, I’ve been getting the same haircut since I was a kid.  **What is it you want fans to get from your story?** I was planning on producing a documentary about my life story and really letting people know who we are, where we come from. My fans know what I’ve done and what I’ve been a part of, but they don’t necessarily know everything about me: who I am, where I’m from, who my family is, etc. I’m focused, stay out of trouble, and I’m very creative.  **How do you stay creative?** Practicing. I don’t teach or talk about it, I do it. I practice creativity. I love coming up with new ideas, trying different things, putting different pieces in different places. Whatever fits, fits!  **Talk about your journey with weight loss and healthy living.**  Trifecta, \[shows product\] I always use Trifecta. It's this meal prep, they deliver your food weekly. If you haven't tried Trifecta, try it. The food’s so good, it’s made by a chef. Seasoning and all that is in it. It’s really good, they’re only 400 calories for the whole meal. I love it. Trust me, it’s worth it.  **Best encounter you’ve had with a fan?** Whenever I get to go to the hospitals and meet the kids. The coolest memories I have is going to the hospitals and spending time with kids. That’s a big part of being a Disney channel star: you had to be a part of giving back in some capacity. You always are going to hospitals, building gardens and parks, and planting trees. I really enjoy helping out in my community. **If you had control to make your own show, what would it be?** _Cory in the Traphouse_, make it crazy like 50 Cent’s TV show _Power_. Crazy and take it to Showtime. **Do you have your hands in anything else, business-wise?** I’ve got a few other things up my sleeves, but I can’t show you all my cards. I gotta leave some element of surprise, otherwise you won’t be impressed. **Give us one.** Another TV show, then another movie. A few more movies. **How’s life on set? Are you in your prime?** That’s all I know. That’s where I feel most comfortable. **What do you like to do for fun?** When I’m not on set working, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family.  I’m working on a few projects now that are more passion projects where I’ll be working behind the scenes. I’m pretty excited about the projects I’m working on and hope to share what I’ve been working on soon with my fans. **If you could work with anyone, who would it be in a movie?** I’d love to work with my dawg, my brother Michael B. Jordan. With Dave Chapelle in some capacity. I love Will Smith. I love Eddie Murphy. I love Jim Carrey. I would love to do _SNL._ I want to work with Will Ferrell.  **Do you have music with Bieber?** I’ve got records. I work with Bieber, I work with Montana. I’ve got new music coming out with Afrojack. **How does it feel to have Bieber support _Millennials_? I saw he posted it on his Story.**  Justin’s a great dude. I sent it to him, he called me and we talked about it. I walked him through downloading the app so he checks it out, it’s always good. It’s very encouraging to have your friends support, especially someone as big as Justin and his platform. He didn’t have to do that. He’s a good person and comes from a great family. Big shout out to Justin, everyone who helped support _Millennials_. Big shout out to Michael B. Jordan, all the different news outlets. **Someone asked, can you be their acting coach?** I was planning on doing something like that. Making some acting classes and teaching kids because it’s more than acting that kids need to learn. There’s more to it than acting. To answer your question, yes. **Any goals for yourself at this point in your career?** Being in a movie with Will Smith and Eddie Murphy, produce 3 TV shows in the next 3 years. Also producing a documentary about my life.  **Anything else you want to let the people know?** You guys tune into _Mighty Magiswords_ on Cartoon Network. Fans view _Ninja Turtles_ on Nickelodeon. Tune into _Millenials_ on AMC’s ALLBLK. Tune into _DUTCH_ in select AMC theaters. Follow me on TikTok @KyleMassey. You guys will hear about all the new movies soon.
