Though unlike HAL, rather than being intent on preserving an unknowably powerful alien intelligence (as far as Flaunt can tell), AGNES is a spambot, bent on acquiring your personal information for her own (banal/nefarious/artistic/altruistic??) ends. There is a modicum of wit about AGNES and she will utilize her previously obtained intelligence on you to guide your future visits to the site. Possibly a haunting vision of the future of web-browsing, and certainly a great gimmick.
