It’s fathomless. Abyssal. Cerulean. The ocean is an enigma; a grand entity of mystique. Lucky for us, OMEGA has designed watches to withstand such depths since 1932, most recently unveiling the fourth generation of their Planet Ocean collection through an immersive pop-up experience and dinner in Miami during Art Basel. Held at the Swiss watchmaker’s Boutique in Miami’s Design District, guests entered—immediately transported into a world of oceanic wonder.

A reflection of the collection’s initiative, the space flowed of texture and gold-plated ambiance; deep blues and stark oranges coating the walls around, while an array of oceanic light projections danced on the floor below. Guests wandered about, mingling, sipping cocktails, and admiring the reimagined Planet Ocean models on display—a curated exhibition where innovation meets technology & style meets performance.

The tides then pulled guests all the way to Soho Beach House for an intimate dinner of celebration towards OMEGA’s persisting explorative essence and heart for the sea. For nearly a century, the watchmaker has proudly pioneered dive watch technology, and what better than an evening under the sea and dinner under the stars to commemorate such pursuit.

An item of luxury and an ode to technical mastery, the new Planet Ocean collection tells a story of boundless curiosity and adventurous spirit. In every detail, it echoes the same instinct that drives divers, dreamers, and innovators alike. After all, the ocean is calling, and we must go.
