LAXART is a non-profit visual art space set on showcasing thematic exhibitions that engage with key issues of our time through the lense of under recognized and emerging talent. Tonight, LAXART in collaboration with Bashir DAviid Naim will host it’s latest edition of Person - a roving club night and series featuring performances. Person will feature performances by Dia Dear, Davia Spain, and Elliot Reed, Dj sets by @bbyshamu @baexploitation @ramdasha, and a floral installation by M. Page Greene.
Doors will open at 9:30PM at a first come first serve basis. $10 is the suggested donation that will benefit the performers.
On Friday, LAXART will host another event, WORKING / TALKING / SERVING / SWERVING:
A bodied discussion of Adam Linder’s Choreographic Services 1 - 5 & a Footnote. The discussion is the latest in performative pieces by artists and choreographer Adam Linder who poses questions of self-reflection through dance.
Doors will open at 6PM at a first come first serve basis.
