Julietta is a pop alchemist, synthesizing ‘80s new-wave gloss with dreamy electronic beats. Her voice breezes over Smallpools’ psychedelic influence, infusing starry-eyed and fluttery textures.
Julietta just released her debut album _Smooth Sailing_ a seven track voyage through her adolescence as a free-spirited youth running around the streets of New York. Don’t we all know that story.
About the remix Julietta says, "I love the 'kick back and relax' aspect of it.” Smallpools adds, "I really enjoyed working with this song. My takeaway from the original was that Julietta had been through some tough times but that those times were behind her. This remix is sort of the prequel to that state of mind...almost 'Smooth Sailing' but not quite there yet."
