[Reach LA’s](http://www.reachla.org) was initially conceived in 1992 as a bi-annual rave/sexual health fair for youth in Los Angeles. It has continued to serve the queer youth of color through innovative programming for 25 years. Their mission is to inspire young LGBT people of color to increase self-care by providing social and sexual health services through an empowering community engagement process, employing the visual and performing arts. Commencing at 2pm on September 28th, the upcoming event at the Marciano Art Foundation, _The Awt (say it out loud) of Measuring Resilience_, will present visual and performative demonstrations of Reach LA’s history and current activities. REACH LA bridges arts, health and wellness in partnership with Los Angeles’ House and Ballroom Community, Drag Circuit, and other queer youth of color networks. The event is part of a series of public programs highlights issues related to the feminine today and disrupting the male gaze.   * * * _The Awt (say it out loud) of Measuring Resilience_ at the Marciano Art Foundation Saturday, September 28, 2019 | 2:00 pm | 4357 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90010
