Yesterday, Pabst Blue Ribbon’s music series, Sound Society, kicked off its new Fearless campaign with an unforgettable, one-night-only event in Los Angeles. The immersive experience was both inspired and curated by Pink Sweat$, whose story of overcoming a career-threatening disease and self-doubt is emblematic of Sound Society’s Fearless theme.

Guests of the pop-up were invited to enter an interactive world bathed in various shades of bubblegum and magenta, as they passed through the Wall of Fearlessness, Fearless Studio, and Fearless Love Lounge.
The journey continued onto The Fearless Stage, where Pink Sweat$ spoke candidly about his childhood, artistic inspiration, and approach to facing fear. On that very subject of fear and risk-taking, the artist claimed that, “Everything you do creates a new experience, which allows you to share something new to your audience.” Pink Sweat$ closed the talk with an improvised freestyle piece pulled from his audience’s feedback, before performing his hit tracks _Would You_ and _Honestly_. Director Jackson Tisi, with whom Pink Sweat$ and Sound Society have been collaborating, will release a short film about the event next month.

Last night’s Pink Sweat$ show was the first of 30 free events that Sound Society plans to host nationwide. Pabst Blue Ribbon will continue its Fearless campaign by partnering with innovative local artists and communities across the country, with the goal of amplifying new talent, and showcasing fearless creativity.
