Photo Diary | Sunset Campout
Summer’s hottest party celebrated its 10th raging year this past weekend as dwellers ascended upon Belden Town, California for three days of dance, fashion, and community.
Sunset Campout originally started with one simple mission: throw the best party possible. As with all prospective party curators, it was all about location, location, location, which is why the party’s GPS links you with Belden Town, a wooded oasis right alongside the Feather River. Attendees could catch shade under the trees during the hot, sweltering afternoons or even take a dip into the river whenever they felt like cooling off. Of course, surrounded by trees helps drown out the sounds when raving late into morning’s early hours.
Organzied by Galen Abbott and his company, Sunset Sound System, this year’s festivities didn’t stray too far from what you’d expect with Sunset Campout. Beautiful people? Check. Fabulous outfits? Check. Innovative DJs keeping party’s raging long after the beat drops? Check. With support coming from Octa-Octa, Jennifer Cardini, Lena Wilikens, Gerd Janson, and Thugfucker, it was a weekend to never forget, if only you could remember.
