On October 25th, in celebration of the spookiest holiday of the year, [Michelle Lhooq](https://www.instagram.com/michellelhooq/?hl=en) of Weed Rave will be hosting _Halloweed,_ a party where guests can dive into their cannabis and high-BPM dreams while getting ghoulish. DJs [Ghorba](https://soundcloud.com/ghorbadj) and [Aura T-09](https://soundcloud.com/aurat09) collaborated to create an exclusive mix for _Flaunt._ Says Ghorba, “The first time Aura T-09 and I went b2b to practice for our Weedrave set was pretty magical. We played for an hour and just looked at each other after like, ‘Yeah, this works.’ We both love high energy, aggressive music and have a special sweet spot for old school rave, so DJing together just fits.”
Located in East LA at a former cannabis growhouse, the event will comprise of three spaces: "Sativa room" (main dancefloor w [DJ Assault,](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/djassault) [Kamixlo](https://soundcloud.com/kamixlo), and other supporting local acts), "Indica room" (chillout/ambient performances from LA breakouts [Kelman Duran](https://soundcloud.com/kelman-duran) and [Maral)](https://soundcloud.com/maral66), outdoor CBD garden with beautifully haunted sound baths, and a weed bus if you’re feeling Kesey-ish.
“This was recorded at my house on three CDJs,” says Aura T-09 on the exclusive mix for _Flaunt_. “I imagined being in a dark, spooky jungle and wanted to take the listener on a journey with us. We played two tracks each so were continually reacting to each others’ choices—and dancing around while the other person played.”
There will also be a weed bar, a haunted jungle maze, spooky plant art installations inspired by _Little Shop of Horrors_, and more.
