_The iconic line continues to evolve._
--------------------------------------
Baroque and Minimal are two words that don’t usually come together. One calls to mind the decadently decorated while the other connotes the stripping away of excess in favor of clean functionality. But Prada clearly doesn’t mind dabbling in contradiction, and with their Baroque Minimal Sunglass Line they make it look good, too.
Launched in 2011, the Baroque Minimal line quickly became iconic for their elegantly exaggerated floral accents, innovative combinations of material, and refined practicality. This year Prada is releasing the glasses in three new styles, each offering a different _mélange_ of the two improbably paired aesthetic approaches, falling variously on the spectrum that runs from minimal-est to baroque as a joke.
Check out our gallery to see the designs, or visit your local Prada boutique or high-end retailer to see them in person and to pick up a pair for yourself.
