Jennifer Lopez is back with a music video for her latest single “Ni Tú Ni Yo,” featuring Gente de Zona and she’s utterly impossible to ignore. Released just yesterday, the video is full of warm tones, to-die-for wardrobe changes, and a brewing romance between Lopez and the dude who’s supposed to be photographing her. “Como en la vida, el amor es así / Nace de la nada y se convierte en todo,” she sings, or, as it’s translated, “Like in life, love is like this / It is born out of nowhere and it becomes everything.”
Eh, who can blame him for falling for her, though? With those enticing eyes and that killer voice, it’s no wonder that the romantic tension is as thick as the air is probably humid in those tropical settings that the video takes place in.
The set up is gorgeous. In one scene, Lopez stands by the glittering ocean, decked out in a sparkling and kaleidoscopic dress. In another, she poses in her birthday suit, covering herself with huge green leaves to sport an Eve from the Garden of Eden look. It is tropical and sultry and everything you wish your Instagram feed would look like when you went on vacation.
“Ni Tú Ni Yo” is the third preview of J-Lo’s upcoming album, her first Spanish-language album in nearly a decade, which will be released in September.
