Most artists hitting the music headlines have put in many hours working on their talent and coming up with a unique sound to stand out above the rest. Josymar “Llay” Freire started his music career during his teenage years and spent most of his free time writing songs. He would create small events and parties with his friends to sing and promote his music. A singer, songwriter, and vocal producer from Portugal, Llay has practiced the art of blending R&B, hip-hop, and trap alongside Kizomba, Zouk, and Afrobeat sounds. Llay is a force to reckon with and has an optimistic future in the music industry. Recently, he has given his fans a new tune with his latest release, “Too Much.” He was intentional with his choice of words, the vocals, and the rhythms in the new release. The track has been well-received by all his fans and new followers, and they can’t wait to behold what Llay has in store for them in the near future. Before the latest release, Llay had released several hits that left his fans buzzing. His sounds earned him an invitation to participate in "The Made of Music 3rd Edition" last October in Paris. In the same month, Llay released another tune dubbed "No Talking" alongside DJ Pausas. The song has already been featured in the Afro Music YouTube Channel. “It’s possible to make it happen in the ever-changing music industry. You need to define yourself, establish what your fans want, come up with a unique sound, and everything will just fall into place”. Llay shares. Josymar "Llay" Freire's path to entering music started in 2016, just a year after forming his own band Exl. Together, they released their first EP comprising the single "[Vou te](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NfGahr9Rmk) [Pegar](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NfGahr9Rmk)" featuring DJ Waldo. His eccentric songs and melodies got his first solo "[Toca No Meu Body](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYMmwHGGqlc)" highlighted in Afro/Kizomba YouTube channels in Portugal called "Mais Kizomba." "Possessing talent in the music industry is key, but it's upon you as an artist to work on your crafts through endless creativity to find your way up to the top,” says Llay. “To become a star, you need to understand the music industry well. You will need to come up with a unique identity through your sound and genre, and work with a supportive team”. Josymar “Llay” Freire is active on Instagram. With numerous music projects coming up, you can only expect more vibes from him in future.
