[Intersect by Lexus](https://www.intersect-nyc.com/#!/), a cafe, restaurant, and gallery all in one, has opened its new exhibit “Inner Light.” The piece is a collaboration between interactive installation studio [Dave & Gabe](https://www.daveandgabe.care/), and musician Jhené Aiko. Traveling through the first floor cafe, complete with almond croissants and intricate sand art, will lead you up to the third floor, where you are greeted by a sculpture that fills the entire room. In the center of the twisting, light piece, is a piano. The instrument can be played normally or, if guests would like, the piano will autonomously duet with them. Every key is linked to a corresponding light, which will transform the music into a visual show. Every 15 minutes or so, the sculpture and piano will play Aiko’s song “Triggered” in dazzling lights. Aiko is interested in healing through sound and meditation, a concept referenced heavily in the installation. The different colors of lights correspond to the seven chakras, and the gallery is meant to provide a unique, immersive experience to visitors. The exhibit is open to visitors February 28 – April 6, 11AM-10PM. * * *
