**BECAUSE SOMETIMES TO BE SELF-ASSURED IS TO BE ABSURD**
_Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s got the steadiest hand, somewhat imaginative, blind-contour-drawing chops in the land? Well, apparently all eight of these brave participants, endeavoring into the unknown, and coming out the other end a more intuitive, inward-looking, and sharper illustrator for today. What is the Blind Contour Portrait, you say? ‘Tis an exercise which requires an artist to sketch themselves without looking at the paper—a way to shift from left-brain thinking to right-brain thinking, a mini-excursion into the soul. We think they just look cool. And after we ask: when has your better judgment let you down?_

**BIANCA ANDREESCU**

“I always try to assume the best in people but, I have learned the hard way that people are not always who they claim to be. Time really doesn’t reveal all things.”

**ANDRE SARAIVA**

“Last Friday. I was absolutely certain I was parking my car in legal spot but when I came back, my car was gone. I thought someone stole my old car but then realized it was towed.”

**GODDESS BUNNY**
_ACTOR_
“A picture of myself showing the glamour that was yesterday. Because Lord knows twenty years from now my ass would be hitting the floor and so would my tits.”

**PATRISSE CULLORS**
_CO-FOUNDER, BLACK LIVES MATTER_
“Oh, this is quite a question. I chose to live in a lovely duplex in my mid 20s. The owner was a bit off but I really needed a place to live. I ended up moving out 30 days later. I learned about identifying red flags from that situation. I knew I didn’t feel all the way comfortable moving forward with the housing situation but I did out of desperation.”

**JERRY SPRINGER**
_TV HOST_
“Everyday when I walked into work at the show! Just kidding, it was a blast to do for 27 years!”

My
better “judgement”
has let me down
in love -
places we don’t judge,
just hurt - you have to be brave to trust someone,
Anything could happen.
Romantic love usually ends painfully
and you know going in-
staying -
went against my better judgement -
but
no regrets.
lessons learned -
I’m already wrapped up in something new and delicious -
I’d rather have my heart broken than live carefully and guarded.
