In honor of the 10th anniversary of the Horizon series, the House celebrates the durability, precision, and artisanal innovation championed by designer Marc Newson. Cultivating a relationship with Louis Vuitton for over 10 years, Newson has developed some of the House’s most reputable works, including a limited-edition biomorphic rucksack in 2014 to celebrate the Monogram and an exclusive glass bottle for Louis Vuitton fragrances. With the inception of the Horizon series in 2016, the series emulates boldness and elegance inspired by Newson’s own travel experiences.

Crafted with an ultra-sleek and contemporary design, the Horizon Aluminum is the first rivetless Louis Vuitton suitcase. With a timelssly motif-stamped shell, this suitcase continues to honor the heritage of using aluminum in Louis Vuitton trunks, a tradition tracing back to the 19th century. Remaining one of the world’s exceptional trunk-makers, Louis Vuitton creates pieces that are made to last for generations.

With the aluminum casing, the suitcase is built for secure traveling in all weather conditions. Accompanied by the suitcase is the Vanity Case companion with a removable central divider and an elastic strap for attaching to the suitcase’s handle. Intentionally crafted from recyclable aluminum and entirely repairable components, any maintenance can be done through the in-store Care and Repair service. This amenity aims to offer support more directly to clients, ensuring the House’s loyal commitment to reliability and material integrity. 

Launching internationally on June 12th, this new series marks a new step in the versatility of Louis Vuitton’s trunk-making while persisting in its reputation for durability, opulence, and high-tech mastery.
