At the Flaunt offices we are a bit too obsessed with [Codex Beauty](https://codexbeauty.com) products with their all organic ingredients and the intersectionality of nature and technology are central tenets of what we all strive for in skin care. The focus on sustainability and the thoughts of consumer transparency has us all jazzed to try out the range of products which mimic that vibe though in its packaging. The pale jade green containers in matte tones work well in complementing the accompanying text design which had a clinical chic touch we often try to display in our personal skin product displays at home.
The brand origins come from Ireland where the fusion of ancient Irish herbal innovation met science to create a modernist respectful take on the traditional remedies. The skin hydrating factor of the product begins with a base that replaces water for a macerated mix of oils from calendula officinalis, helichrysum italics and symphytum officinale. The skin is provided with a deep layer of nourishment without that sensation of drowning in oil. We let the Flaunt staff test out the various products to see their effects in the most essential as well as layered upon each other.
[Exfoliating Wash](https://codexbeauty.com/collections/bia-collection/products/exfoliating-wash) - This exfoliant is best for normal to dry skin. The best results came from this as It created a perfected exfoliating treatment while not being too abrasive or gentle. The finishing tone and polishing ingredients left skin feeling nourished with out the oily residue a lot of exfoliators often have nor the drying sensation that many products may have in their ranges.
[Skin Superfood](https://codexbeauty.com/collections/bia-collection/products/skin-superfood) - As soon as I pump this onto my fingertips, I deeply inhale the aromatic scent. As I massage it into my skin as directed, I understand why it’s called a superfood: it really is feeding my skin the hydration and nourishment it needs. Made with a unique BiaComplex herbal formula, it instantly soothes and relaxes my skin.
[Day Cream](https://codexbeauty.com/collections/bia-collection/products/day-cream)\- I used this as good base to apply the other moisturizers on top of my post clearing treatments. It was extremely refreshening, It is best used all over as compared to the Skin Superfood which was a great. I also like to apply this on the decolletage region as well as my elbows.
[Eye Gel Cream](https://codexbeauty.com/collections/bia-collection/products/eye-gel-cream) - The eye gel immediately hit me with the fresh scent, likely from the arnica and bladderwrack. A little goes a long way, so you certainly get the best bang for your buck, and it smooths in quite easily. After letting it soak into my skin, it left my under-eyes feeling supple and soothed. The great thing is that it felt veiling rather than thick which acts as an easy go to before applying the usual cosmetic regimen.
[Facial Oil](https://codexbeauty.com/collections/bia-collection/products/facial-oil) - This product was a lovely resource to place after the full round of cleansing and moisturizing. The thick oil really does go far, the suggested 2 drops really quickly well envelope the skin. I placed it on after the scrub and dash of skin food for the best results. After a full days wear my skin feels and looks fresh without the typical greasy end of day glaze. I also love the bounce of the skin as well as the neutral scents
