There are scents that function like timestamps, and for a certain generation of beauty obsessives, Too Faced’s peach is one of them. One whiff and you are back in 2016, hunched over a bathroom counter, blending a palette that felt like a rite of passage. So there was something almost cinematic about the way the brand chose to bring it back: an unmarked door on La Brea, a password of sorts, and then a garden.
On Thursday, July 9, Too Faced marked the return of its Peach Collection at Candela La Brea, sending guests through a speakeasy entrance and into a peach-scented dreamscape built to feel like the inside of the franchise itself. The room was thick with fragrance and greenery, less a launch party than an invitation to live briefly inside a memory. The guest list stayed tight and knowing, drawing creators, makeup artists, and the celebrities including Nikkie de Jager, Madi Webb, Cheryl Burke, Michelle Kennelly, Manny MUA and Maddie Dean into the same pink hued and ornately built out venue.
What they came to see is a collection that remembers where it came from without staying there. The 2026 Peach lineup keeps the sugary identity that made the original a cult object while reengineering everything beneath the surface, trading heavier coverage for a hydrated, soft-focus finish that reads as skin first.
