Posting content online is permanent. It will remain there forever, and anyone can access it. While many see that as a detriment, it also allows us to create a legacy, build a following, and become part of global conversation. It also presents a range of opportunities for networking with other content creators, allowing influencers to make their mark on the Internet in a lasting way.
Shameless and proud of it, friends Susie Stellar and Sidney Summers have embraced the concept of being online forever and turned it into a podcast. They’ve created a unique, immersive experience that offers both comedic relief and an exploration of the Internet and the adult industry’s quirks.
Aptly named Online Forever, the podcast sees the girls talk to the brightest adult entertainment stars about what it means to be nude, immortalized, and prospering on the Internet.
Both Susie and Sidney have current careers in adult entertainment, but they have also worked in mental health professions, and they’ve worked with children. This gives them a unique perspective that Susie says attracts more people to watch or listen to them.
“People like that, although we come from more traditional industries, we are unafraid to just let it all hang loose on the internet,” she says.
Susie says she always knew she would be a performer, though her first job was very different.
“I have worked since I was 13 and used my degree after college,” she says, “but I knew my path would be unique. As I got older, I went into becoming a performer, a professional burlesque dancer, and then the world of adult entertainment opened up, and I just wanted to make people feel tingly and special.”
And she does “tingly” well. Season one of the show included exciting guest appearances from adult entertainment stars Emma Magnolia, Roxie Sinner, Kira Noir and one of the industry’s most famous men, Dredd, while season two is expected to be even more exciting with a slight change of direction.
According to Stellar, the girls have plans to collaborate with comedians in season two to further explore the similarities between the industries. Their studio is in West Hollywood and often, after shooting an episode, they would head over to The Comedy Store and quickly became regulars and made comedian friends, some of which will be appearing on the podcast.
Having comedians on board will help open the podcast up, and she believes it will be a hit with listeners and viewers.
“We share a lot of the same fans.”
The girls are continuously innovating and expanding their brand, with goals to offer merchandise, events, parties, collaborations houses and other opportunities for people to interact with the podcast in meaningful new ways. Listen to Online Forever to hear all about it and to experience the girls in all their self-assured glory.
