The 26-year-old model, actress, and influencer has officially joined the ranks of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 2026 edition as a rookie, and her reaction to the news was nothing short of electric. The 2026 SI Swimsuit Issue marks a banner year for the publication, which chose Botswana’s breathtaking landscapes as its opening location reveal. Mickelson shot alongside returning models Camille Kostek, Penny Lane, Alix Earle, and Achieng Agutu. All five women photographed by the legendary Ruven Afanador against the backdrop of the Southern African wilderness. In Mickelson’s debut image, she pairs a rich-hued PatBO two-piece with Birkenstock boots, leaning into an easy, sun-drenched elegance that feels entirely her own.

The SI Swimsuit sisterhood wasted no time in welcoming their newest member. Agutu cheered her on with “YESSS DIVA!!
