A trail of memories, threads of choices linking together, piecing together like a puzzle that makes you who you are. Loro Piana’s Fall/Winter 2026-2027 Men and Women’s collection titled Nomadic Reverie revolves around the idea of the journeys we take in our lives, both physical and metaphysical, and how so much of ourselves is derived from these voyages. The traveler is in all of us, longing to touch, to see, and experience.

Like looking out a window of a rushing train, moments flash by in our lives filled with seasons and sensations. This collection celebrates the in-between moments, where we can truly see what our travels have given us, and we connect the dots of how we evolve from such movement. Recently unveiled in Milan, these pieces were shown to guests accompanied by recitations of short poems referencing the passing of seasons, and the main showroom was constructed from materials to be reminiscent of a train carriage. An effortless ease is the center of both the men’s and women’s pieces. There is no struggle, no fight. It is meditation and acknowledgment of our inherent wanderlust, not filled with resistance to impermanence, but instead filled with reverence. Fabrics and colors blend together painlessly, almost spontaneously, as though the pieces were put together on the go.

Pieces are carefully detailed and crafted to display the seasons of our lives, taking inspiration from the four seasons of the earth and featuring paisley. Colors mutate as we travel through the collection, starting from warm and sensory-filled tones such as terracotta, moving through rose pinks and browns, beiges and grays, greens and midnight blues, and then finally settling in black, white, and gold; the colors of celebration. Indeed, it is a celebration to cycle through life nomadically, filled to the brim with memories. The constructions of these pieces are soft and fluid, ready to evolve and change, just like we must be ready to evolve and change. With materials such as lace, silk, tweed, cashmere, and more being the foundations of these pieces, this collection is a unity of past and present. It is a picture of elegance, painted and interwoven with materials, color palettes, and memories of journeys already completed, and journeys yet to come.
