There is a particular discomfort that comes from feeling seen in the wrong way. Not recognized, not understood, but noticed as something out of place. On EYESORE, KXLLSWXTCH does not attempt to soften that feeling or translate it into something palatable. Instead, he stands inside it, letting the tension speak for itself.
The Anaheim, California artist has long worked at the intersection of rage and vulnerability, but EYESORE feels less like an outburst and more like an exposure. Written during a period of sustained stress, anger, and emotional overload, the album moves through shifting states of mind with little warning. Fury collapses into sorrow. Confidence flickers, then fractures. The songs do not resolve. They linger.

The title itself is telling. EYESORE reflects the feeling of sticking out in the worst way possible, of being the black sheep no matter where you land. Rather than framing that alienation as something to overcome, KXLLSWXTCH allows it to shape the album’s emotional architecture. Each track feels like a different attempt at survival, some loud and confrontational, others exhausted and inward-looking.
“BREAK” emerges as the project’s quiet center. The song captures the weight of holding everything together while feeling close to folding under pressure, a sentiment that ripples across the album in different forms. Elsewhere, tracks like “RAGE QUIT” and “HEADLOCK” channel lived experience into raw, unfiltered expression, blurring the line between catharsis and collapse.
EYESORE also marks a creative turning point. For the first time, KXLLSWXTCH stepped into production himself, reclaiming control over the album’s sonic identity. The result is a sound that feels intentionally abrasive and stripped back, reconnecting with the reckless energy that first drew listeners to his work while allowing more space for emotional range.
The visual world surrounding EYESORE mirrors its sound. Unsettling, confrontational, and impossible to ignore, the imagery invites discomfort rather than escape. It asks the viewer to sit with unease, to resist the urge to look away.
In support of EYESORE, KXLLSWXTCH will take the EYESORE U.S. Tour across the country in March and April 2026, stopping in Atlanta, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Mesa (AZ), San Diego, Santa Ana, and more. Joined by Druidess and Warlord Colossus, the tour brings multiple scenes together under one roof, translating the album’s chaos and emotional volatility into a live setting where nothing is diluted.
With EYESORE, KXLLSWXTCH offers no clean conclusions. What he offers instead is permission. Permission to feel everything, to exist inside contradiction, and to let discomfort be part of the process rather than the problem.
