Amanda Trivizas stands next to a vintage Bently, her stance strong as she poses with a black leather suitcase equipped with its own gold chain. A bright yellow helicopter hovers in the background as it lands behind her. The massive machinery and its potential mission doesn’t intimidate her, because the veteran model knows there’s a thrilling adventure that will literally take her career to new heights.

While the shine of the car complements her black satin lingerie and leather trench coat combination, it’s the helicopter she’ll be taking to “work” today as the 24-year-old model gets ready for what she calls “the CRAZIEST photoshoot” she’s ever done.

The end result is a stunning compilation of Bond Girl-esque images and video footage coordinated and shot by LA photographer Kent Avery. Trivizas, who was always interested in modeling from a young age, poses effortlessly in each take. She makes modeling inside of a Robinson r22 helicopter look easy, but it takes a true professional to keep their cool while working hundreds of feet above the ground.

The inspiration for the shoot came from the work of Helmut Newton, a classic photographer from the mid-20th century known for his daring black-and-white images. “He always did really cool and over-the-top editorials,” Avery explains.

His methodology is clear with the contrasts of Trivizas’ dark features against the bumble bee yellow helicopter and in the bold angles shot to convey a thrilling storyline. In one shot, Trivizas casually adjusts her glasses as she whirrs around the Los Angeles skyline. In another, she looks down at the iconic Hollywood sign from above, proving she’s made it to the top.

In a short amount of time, Trivizas has been able to accomplish what others in her industry take years to succeed at. She’s taken the online world by storm, amassing over 1.1 million loyal followers on Instagram who fawn over her alluring lingerie, chic fashion, and captivating bikini modeling.

She continues to play a prominent role in the lifestyle and fashion spheres, and has made appearances in music videos for Felix Ortiz's "No Quiero Amarte," Menchie, So Crazy's "Like Dat," and Pitbull’s “Quiero Saber”.

The California native takes time for herself between opportunities and carefully curates exciting modeling experiences. She explains in a YouTube video that when Avery approached her with the chance to model lingerie on a flying helicopter, she asked all kinds of safety protocol questions to reassure her hesitations before eagerly agreeing to the job.

The day of the shoot begins with a hearty, healthy breakfast and quality time spent with her rescue dogs Marley and Tucker. Trivizas is a huge advocate in the rescue animal community, She is vocal about sharing the extraordinary impact fostering dogs has made on her life and the lives of the pups she’s generously helped. The incredible bond they all share is evident in her videos and is a reminder of the power of compassion and the ability of individuals to make a positive change.

Trivizas moves into hair and makeup. She brings in Shanell Sorrells, Antonio Ferrer, and Andrea Jaclyn to help bring her sultry look to life. Within moments she is transformed from a just-rolled-out-of-bed-beauty to a stunning supermodel ready for her closeup. The look includes smokey eyes and natural tones to make her best features stand out during the shoot.

She completes the look with lingerie. Trivizas opts for a satin black set from Honey Birdette. A shrewd entrepreneur with a natural sense of style, Trivizas’ brand partnerships include work with Fashionova and KO Watches, as well as Ignite and Bang Energy Drinks. Represented by Arsenic Agency, a company focused on expanding a new era of artists, models, and creators, Trivizas is bringing her professional portfolio to new heights.

In the comfort of her dressing room, she shows off the details of the lingerie, which features gold metal hoops and zippers, supportive cupping, and bold straps that conform to her body in all the right ways.

The finished look includes a leather trench coat that ultimately becomes a statement piece in the shoot itself. Knowing it could be tricky to change inside of a helicopter hanger, she dares to wear her directly to the set, strutting across the tarmac ready for the exciting work ahead.

Trivizas starts off on the ground, posing in front of vintage cars and airplanes on the shoot’s lot at Compton Airport. She shares her enthusiasm for classic vehicles before hopping in the helicopter which will bring her higher than she’s ever modeled before.

From the photographer’s side of things, even the most experienced in the industry can get pre-shoot jitters when it comes to using aircraft as a setting. “To be honest it can be slightly scary at times,” Avery admits, “but it’s also fun and exciting”.

Avery understands how important preparing for a thrilling photoshoot like this entails, having previously shot celebrities like Wiz Khalifa and Demi Lovato. Avery enlisted the help of videographer Russ Vasilchuck to support the dramatic shoot, and Hollywood Stunt Pilot Robin Petgrave, who pulled everything together. “Robin is the man!” he praises his colleague. “I used to do a lot of landscape photography and that’s how I met him. I’ve been working with him for years so I called him up with the concept and he said let’s do it!”

And he’s proof that it takes a village to ensure things go smoothly, even if only for a few hours. “I make sure I have everything I need from props to makeup to location to styling,” he explains. “There’s usually a makeup artist, a hair stylist, costume styling, a location and prop person, a videographer, and an assistant, just to name a few.”

From the finished videos and photos, it's clear the collaboration between model, photographer, and those assisting with the set is totally in sync. Trivizas leaves the airport behind with a smile on her face, knowing she’s given it her all once more.

“That was so much fun!” she beams as she drives home. “That was the coolest experience of my life.”
