Visually and thematically, Wes & Belle drip in nostalgia. Think Varsity Blues meets Cruel Intentions, but with an even greater emphasis on exploring sexual desires. The series pays tribute to the alpha male image that was so iconic in the late ‘90s and early 2000s, the tall, mysterious bad boy who commands attention. Wesley Powers is a walking throwback to that archetype.
“I’m still looking for my perfect Wes Powers,” Belle laughs. “A 6’4+ playboy with an early 2000s mindset, confident, dominant, unapologetic.” He’s not shy about it, and that honesty is part of his character’s magnetic appeal.
With more than 20+ film and TV credits under her belt, spanning blockbusters to streaming hits, Belle has proven herself a relentless creative force. While many in the industry deliver one major project every few years, Belle consistently puts out two to three a year.
