Anna has started over more times than most people dare to. The Russian fashion  commercial model built her international career without connections, without an agency, and without a safety net. She moves between countries the way other people change apartments: with intention, with nerves, and with the quiet certainty that the next place will teach her something the last one couldn't.

Her portfolio includes L'Oréal Dubai, Louvre Abu Dhabi, a billboard in JBR, a L'AMOUR Magazine Paris cover, and an Elegance Ambassador title at Miss Universe Dubai. What makes Anna different is the way she thinks about her future. For Anna, if something goes awry, she will try again.

She has faced obstacles that don't make it into most portfolios: no starting resources, repeated relocations, the ongoing work of adapting to new cultures. And in 2022, a serious injury left her with a titanium plate in her face and multiple skull fractures. This experience permanently changed her relationship with her own body. She says that this taught her to stop treating life as something guaranteed and to value health, movement, time, and the people beside her in ways she hadn't before.

Actually, her modeling philosophy was shaped by a childhood steeped in performance, empathy, and the discipline of reading a room. It is built on artistry and presence before an audience, on softness and the ability to feel people, to carry emotion into the frame without explanation.

Long before her work abroad, there was a stage at a small college in southern Russia, where, in 2014, she enrolled to study acting and directing. She hadn't set out to become a model — she wanted to understand performance itself: how a body holds attention, how silence can say more than a line of dialogue, how an audience decides in seconds whether to believe you. That training gave her something most models never get: a vocabulary for emotion before she ever stood in front of a camera.

The international chapter of her career took shape in Dubai, where she began working with multicultural creative teams on larger fashion, beauty, and commercial projects. Dubai was the first place where she truly had a sense of belonging, both personally and creatively. It was where she built meaningful friendships, met people from every part of the world, and discovered an environment where ideas could quickly become reality.

What followed was a string of projects that each brought something new. The Louvre Abu Dhabi National Day campaign connected visual work, culture, national identity, and music within one of the most recognized institutions in the world, a place where transparency is literally embedded in the architecture, where light moves through the dome and builds its own atmosphere. Being part of a project in that space connected the work to something much larger than fashion. The L'Oréal Dubai campaign offered something else entirely: the scale of a global commitment, hundreds of nationalities on a single team, and — perhaps most importantly — the quiet confirmation that she could hold her own in an international professional environment.

All these big projects felt like stepping into a room where no one knows your name, the rules are unwritten, and nothing you built before comes with you, but you jump into cold water anyway, and you find that you can swim.

Authenticity, Anna will tell you, is a word the industry uses constantly and understands rarely. For someone who has had to fight for her own image, starting without resources, rebuilding after injury, crossing borders with nothing guaranteed on the other side, it means something more specific. It means that what she brings into the frame has actually happened to her somewhere. The emotion is sourced from something real. Even a highly produced campaign, she believes, should contain something emotionally believable. That is the difference between an image people scroll past and one they stay with.

And maybe that is what starting without a map teaches you above everything else — that the absence of a starting point is not the same as the absence of a future.

On confidence, she is equally precise. It is not the absence of insecurity. It is the ability to walk into a room, do the work, and stay present even when you feel nervous. It is built through action and repetition.

Anna is also thoughtful on AI. The new aesthetics and the new creative possibilities are genuinely interesting. However, AI raises artificially elevated standards of what a person is supposed to look like and quietly replaces real people in campaigns. The healthiest direction, she thinks, is not replacing one standard with another. It is creating enough room for people to be recognizable as themselves. That, she believes, is what the industry should be protecting.

If her life were a book, the title would be Starting Over Without a Map. Because that is what most chapters have actually looked like. Stepping into unfamiliar places without knowing how things would unfold, making mistakes, adapting, and writing the next page along the way have followed her throughout her career. The map, she has learned, tends to appear once you are already moving.

She is moving strategically toward the next stage of a career that has never followed a straight line, and probably never will.

And happiness? Knowing that the people she loves are safe. The freedom to create, to travel, to choose. Feeling at home with someone rather than simply in a place. Staying kind on the way to ambitious things, because she believes you can have both, but only if you are paying attention.
