Mazhar cites his frustration over the inability to sell his clothes at a more inexpensive price as part of the appeal for partnering up with a fast-fashion retailer like Topman. “I understand why clothing can be so expensive, but it’s a really cool thing to be able to offer something a bit more affordable once in a while. I want my clothes to be a part of the culture I’m into. For them to have a real history, I think they need to have an affordable price…”
