After a chance Nashville run-in with rock n’ roll heavyweight Jack White, [Mattiel Brown](https://www.instagram.com/mattielbrown/?hl=en) decided it was time to put the music career into full-time focus. She paired up with Jonah Swilley and started writing and recording music inspired by turn-of-the-century garage rockers like the White Stripes and the Black Lips. As the band incorporated touring into their itinerary, their audiences grew, which gave them the confidence to start releasing albums. Their second full-length, Satis Factory, came out earlier this year via ATO Records.
