Since her debut EP in 2017, [Sudan Archives](https://www.instagram.com/sudanarchives/?hl=en) has mixed her electronic sound with Northeast and West African rhythms to produce several singles, all leading to her first album set to release some time this year. Although a date has yet to be announced, we were given a sneak peek into the album with _Confessions_; the conscience exploring track grounded in violin hooks and 3-dimensional melodies. When she’s not teaching herself to play violin or producing new music, you can catch Sudan Archives playing festivals like Coachella or performing at the likes of LACMA’s Robert Rauschenberg 1/4 Mile Exhibition; and this November, headlining a number of shows throughout Europe. The accompanying video for the single "Confessions" paints a portrait of master violinist in 8mm in a display of drone like precision presenting her with a group of friends hanging in an intimate setting of home.
