Hublot Galerie Opens in Miami's Design District with Usain Bolt and Mr. Brainwash
With brilliant timing (mid-Art Basel, Miami Beach revelry) Swiss watch brand Hublot Galerie premiered the grand opening of its 11th boutique in the heart of Miami’s Design District. CEO Ricardo Guadalupe hosted the event and enlisted the aid of Brand Ambassador Usain Bolt to lead a group of local youths in a track sprint. The children wore the brand’s name proudly as they dashed through the ceremonial ribbon into the boutique where the party commenced. Inside the store, brick walls and warm undertones evoked a timeless, classic atmosphere that paid homage to Swiss tradition while infusing modern flair with Hublot’s Pop Art canvases. The one-of-a-kind Big Bang Unico timepiece and watch box designed by street-artist Mr. Brainwash was featured prominently, adding to the art gallery atmosphere. Contributing to this: the exterior, wrapped by Mr. Brainwash to create a work of art.

As a warm-up, roisterers spent the previous evening nibbling dinner on a yacht (with hosts  Haute Living) and ended the evening with a party at the famed Casa de Suenos Estate in Miami Beach, the home of JR and Loren Ridinger. Bolt weaving gilded cross-trainers between Mr. Brainwash, Miley Cyrus, Russell Simmons, and Swizz Beatz, saving some playtime—brilliantly.
