Charm and charisma to burn, that guy.” – Casting Director Richard Hicks, _Scream Queens_ When British actor Lucien Laviscount_\[10\]_ acts like he’s afraid of ghosts, it’s in good spirit. Given his telegenic appeal, it’s no surprise the Lancashire-born star got his start in an advertising campaign. But the static nature of print media didn’t satisfy the then 10-year-old; he opted for the kinesis of television, appearing on numerous popular UK series throughout his tweens and teens. Now he’s earned 28 credits in just 13 years, but given the fickle nature of a sofa-based viewership, Laviscount has yet to secure a longstanding lead role. Though Hollywood could be plotting just the trick; this fall, he plays Earl Grey on Fox’s _Scream Queens_. Created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan (both of _Glee_\-acclaim), and featuring horror-veteran Jamie Lee Curtis amongst an all-star ensemble, the series merges comedy and horror for satirical effects when sorority leader Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts) finds her girls the target of a serial killer. It’s TBC how much screaming Laviscount will do, but CALIFUK chaise loungers surely will, if the gorgeous actor even slightly lifts his shirt. #### _10 Born 9 June 1992_ _\[a\]_ #### _10.a “But what a delicious cream puff it is.”_ _\[i\]_ #### _10.i From: “STAGE REVIEW: Rumors\[\*\] a Delightful Beginning”_ #### _by Nancy Churnin |_ Los Angeles Times _| 9 June 1992_ _\*The 1998 premiere of Neil Simon’s_ Rumors _was a funny-ish work in progress (it did go to Broadway).
