Our first springtime flourish saw us partner with Liase Jewelery for the US launch of their stylish new collection at H. Lorenzo’s gallery space. Our ears embraced the jives of DJ Whitney Fierce, while our lips drank deep on tasty Mezcal Amarás. Next we joined Girlfriends Issue cover star Rosamund Pike and Max Mara for a sublime meal at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Walt Wines offered fine Californian chardonnay and pinot noir, and issue featuree Justine Skye joined in celebrations of exceptional pop and vigor. Across town at the suave new Houston Brother’s salon Black Rabbit Rose, we joined Nicole Miller for a magical meal with honored guest from this issue Bebe Rexha, alongside both Girlfriends co-coveree Pia Mia, and this issue’s featuree Amanda Steele. Our meals were served with liberal dashings of tasty SVEDKA Vodka, delicious Kim Crawford wine, and yummy Ruffino Prosecco. In Hollywood we brought nothing less than our A-ist of games, when our Alternative Facts issue cover star Joe Jonas brought his band DNCE and our great friends Guess to the Tao Group’s brand new Avenue L.A. for a night that put the riot in riotous. Hips were a battleground as DJ’s Eddie Ruscha and DJ Johnny Basil attacked the decks, while our mouths knew nothing but refined peace with enviable dashings of Perfectomundo Tequila, praisingly-popped bottles of Ruffino Prosecco, and exquisite Mezcal Amarás. Westward was our next play, into the elegant confines of H. Lorenzo’s women’s boutique in West Hollywood for the US release of the bold new SSHEENA collection all the way from Milano. Svedka supplied voluptuous vodka, Kim Crawford a sultry range of chardonnay and rosé, while the beers were curvaceous Peroni Nastro Azzurro. Another dalliance with decadence led us to the Tropicana at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel for a poolside party proliferating weapons-grade fun as we joined partners and pals AG and NYCult in association with Forecast for a 4/20 celebration for the ages. No less than The Big Pink, Bec Adams, and No Vacancy Inn were on the wheels of steel, while Foxtales captured us crushing it in their immersive photobooth experience. Next, Hermès, and their Men’s Artistic Director and Girlfriends Issue featuree Véronique Nichanian took us out on the Downtown L.A. for the extravagant launch of their S/S 2017 men’s collection at DWNTWNMEN – a runway show and sonic and visual feast. From there to Palm Desert where a black helicopter whisked us to the luxuriant Grey Space Art brunch to see the world’s greatest bong collection housed in the sublime Imago Art Gallery. Lastly but certainly not leastly to TAG Heuer’s When Art Meets Cycling event, unveiling their new art-inspired cycling jerseys that will be worn on the Amgen Tour of California, then TAG Heuer graciously wheeled us to the Chateau Marmont for an intimate dinner.
