CARY GRANT X OLIVER PEOPLES

In its first-ever authorized collaboration, Cary Grant’s estate has teamed up with California-based eyewear brand, Oliver Peoples, to design a collection of frames in homage to one of cinema’s greatest figures. This is the first time the actor’s name and likeness has been loaned to _any_ brand. A huge deal, really. The essence of the “man on the run” that Grant encapsulated in his character, Roger Thornhill from “North by Northwest”, has been immortalized in a series of tortoise acetate frames offered in six sleek colorways. Along the temple, each pair is adorned with a CG monogram taken from Grant’s personal stationery as well as a custom case inspired by the colors of his suit worn in the film. A man known for his “innate elegance” and tendency to dawn “simple, sophisticated” frames of “great quality,” it only seems appropriate that the _Cary Grant_ frame follow suit. With Oliver Peoples, a brand whose signature commitment resides in quality and timeless class, this collaboration appears to be a match made in heaven. The _Cary Grant_ will be available the first week of April in Oliver People boutiques and online, a * * *
