For a decade and a half, Only Watch has produced annual Charity auctions in support of Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies (AMM), A Monnoco-Based association for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) research. This year, Louis Vuitton marks their 6th participating year, presenting what they call the “Escale Spin Time Watch”.

For this piece, Louis vuitton pulled inspiration from the work of tattoo artists, featuring hand painted graphics among its diamond and ruby studded Bezel. As the face displays the rose embedded LV icon, the watch is grounded within its elegant 18k white gold case and dial, Sapphire glass, and alligator strap. The watch demonstrates Louis Vuitton’s dedication to craftsmanship through its layered intricacies, with over 200 hours of time spent on the Anita Porchet enamel graphic alone. And to articulate Louis Vuitton’s watchmaking expertise even further, the watch’s internal engineering features Louis Vuitton classic’s like its patented self-winding movement and a dual cylinder LV79 caliber.

Proving it’s as intricate as it sounds, Louis Vuitton notes the timepiece as a “delicate, technical object; a precious tribute to traditional and exceptional fine watchmaking craftsmanship.”
