Check the calendar, we’ve arrived in September which means summer’s over, cooler weather lurks on the horizon, and your favorite brands reveal their Fall/Winter clothing line.  Although we haven’t seen everything from their newest line, Louis Vuitton unveiled a new textile collection as part of a collaboration with LA based artist Jonas Wood. The eleven-piece set incorporates LV’s signature textile products such as the silk carre, the shawl, and the stole with Wood’s own style. In true Wood’s fashion, he reinterprets LV’s iconic Monograms with an orange basketball, a yellow flower, and a black-and-white pot (an homage to his wife, the artist Shio Kusaka).  LV’s collab with Jonas Wood marks another notch in the House’s storied history of teaming up with a well-known artist for considerable success. In the past, they’ve partnered with Alex Israel, Sol LeWitt, James Rosenquist, Andree Putman, and Takashi Murakami.   *
