We’ve got your friday night covered. Multifaceted artist and photographer, Megan Plunkett has teamed up with visual artist, Jess Scott, to bring you Long Live Me, a special event at [Gallery @](http://thegalleryat.com) where attendees can join in on a collaborative tell all and read portions aloud from their favorite memoirs. With a juicy selection of excerpts readily available, guests can expect a plethora of lurid gossip, dubious recountings, and tall tales.  The event is operating in concurrence with Megan Plunkett’s latest solo-show entitled, “Act Naturally”, which examines the material condition of photography. Interested in how she could imagine an estrangement of realism inside a well-mapped commercial space, Plunkett decided to shoot the project on the second floor of Michael’s restaurant in Santa Monica, bringing along nothing but a camera and a foam-core standee of a cowboy man that she made in her studio. Her body of work serves as an eerie reminder of the separation between you and the public arrangement that we call reality.  * * * “Act Naturally” will be on display at Gallery @ | 6200 Hollywood Blvd until December 15th.
