The video, shot by ETA, is for his first single “[Libra](https://soundcloud.com/eddingtonagain/libra-1/s-NMpJ3),” from his sophomore EP _Damani6_. Eddington Again is an LA native who isn’t afraid of experimenting with the mixture of art forms and music styles. His imaginative approach is what gives him his unique sound. This EP is a collaboration with his producer, Oxtoa, where they created a blend of soulful trap with pop and an emphasis on young queer love. Eddington explores the idea of wanting someone even though he realizes he is okay on his own. Flaunt got to chat with him to learn more about his single, passion for dance, and his upcoming EP. Check it out below. **Does your song “Libra” have anything to do with the horoscope? Are you into astrology?** The title was inspired by my close involvement with Libras B2B. It was my first time being romantic with anyone of that sign and also mad interesting. Lots of Libra lessons. The thing I enjoyed the most was how honest they were about uncertainty. Air signs are supposed to be up in the air about a lot of things. Making them more prone to have confidence in their visions. That’s something I’m trying to adapt to my everyday life. As far as astrology, I can definitely say i’m a student, just out of pure curiosity. I like keeping up with what astrologers and mediums say and predict, then watching how things actually play out. I like examining personality traits and seeing if they match up with the persons sign; its’ more of an exploration for me. **What does this song mean to you?** It’s my inner child crying out for a sense of wholeness. He always need a hug. **I like how you incorporated your own dancing into the music video for “Libra.” What inspired that decision?** The Killers asked “are we human or are we dancer?” I’m a dancer. **Did you choreograph the dance section or was it improvised? If it was improvised, what influences your movement?**  It was all improvised. I’ve been improvise dancing since my early teen years. The influence is Krump and Clown Dancing meets whatever my soul is feeling in response to the music and environment. **Your dancing is easy-going and fluid in the music video, which is quite the opposite of krumping. Which style do you like better?**  Krump has elements of fluidity. It’s usually more aggressive, but in order to be considered great at the style, you have to have be fluid AF from one move to the next. Krump taught me fluidity. The easy-going movements in this video are a response to the vibe of the music. Plus, I was standing on a sharp edge and a top of a rock, so anything other than easy-going would have been dangerous. **What comes first, the beat or the lyrics?** Usually the beat.** How would you describe your music style? Has it evolved over time?** I would describe my music style as experimental soul music wth influence of rap, punk, and R&B. Its always evolving and surprising me. **What can we expect from your upcoming EP?** Lots of pop-inspired soulful melodies and harmonies. More experimentation and lots of yearning and bass. Every song on this EP is new, which is a first for me. I really just spent a lot of time with Oxtoa having fun and getting to know each other through ideas and surprises in the music. Magic happens when we’re locked in having a good time, so I hope people really feel that. **What’s next?** Sweet Taboo remix EP. First edit by Bapari is out now. Next up is Maral and Safe Jazz. _Damani6_ is coming in 2020. Seven tracks that, I have a feeling, a lot people are going to get addicted to. Also, check out the [“Fav” video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5uSvY_F_24) on Youtube. I co-produced with my friend Kellen Melloy. * * * _Damani6_ out on Middle Ryhthm 2020.
