[_Blue Boy_](http://www.nightgallery.ca/exhibitions/paul-heyer3/about) will be his fourth solo exhibition at the gallery. In his newest work, named after Thomas Gainsborough’s famous painting “Blue Boy”, Heyer reflects on the art of transformation through his futuristic-gothic paintings of skeletons over absurdist interpretations of nature. Jin Shan, Relay, 2019 ![Jin Shan, Relay, 2019](https://assets-global.website-files.com/62ee0bbe0c783a903ecc0ddb/6472b76128d062243a591cf0_Flaunt%2BJin%2BShan%2BNight%2BGallery%2BJalyn%2BEaton.jpeg) Jin Shan, Relay, 2019 [_Hall of Mirrors_](http://www.nightgallery.ca/exhibitions/jin-shan/press-release) is Shanghai-based Jin Shan’s first solo exhibition in Los Angeles. The artist reimagines statues of antiquity by ways of distortion. In doing this, Jin Shan exemplifies the contortion of Western values while acknowledging its existing framework. Shan’s _Hall of Mirrors_ is a modern interpretation of The Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles. _Blue Boy_ and _Hall of Mirrors_ will be on display until July 13 at Night Gallery. 2276 E 16th St, Los Angeles, CA 90021
