Red Bull Arts New York announces free public programming for [_Gretchen Bender: So Much Deathless_](https://culturalcounsel.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=80758300da37073503a548031&id=95f4cde6b5&e=f4aca613fa), the first posthumous retrospective of the life and work of the multi-disciplinary artist. Gretchen Bender (1951-2004), was a pioneering American artist who worked alongside video, sculpture, computer graphics, photography, print and installation to interrogate the accelerated age of mass media. Returning the spotlight to one of contemporary art’s most prescient figures, _So Much Deathless_ showcases Bender’s importance and lasting influence. The exhibition will feature daily screenings of Bender’s _Total Recall_ and accompanied by public programming organized into four categories — Meet the Makers, Virtual Histories, Exhibition Tours, and Off-Site Programs. The series includes artists talks, film screens, live performances, and tours that will run every  Wednesday through Sunday from 12-7 p.m. from March 6 through July 29, 2019.
