In celebration of Art Basel Miami Beach 2018, FENDI presented _The Shapes of Water_, a project by Sabine Marcelis that showcases one of FENDI’s cherished design tools: water. Inspired by the architecture of Rome and using water as a design tool, Marcelis created ten cast-resin fountains, two of which don FENDI’s FF logo. In honor of Marcelis’ work, FENDI threw a dinner on December 4th, celebrating both _The Shapes of Water_ and FENDI’s 10th inaugural appearance with Design Miami. Last night FENDI continued the festivities hosting a cocktail. This took place at their Miami Design District store, celebrating another ten-year anniversary for the brand: their iconic Peekaboo design. The Peekaboo bag was displayed on a podium installation designed by Marcelis. Renown worldwide designers have christened the Peekaboo design with their customized icons, including Oscar Wang of China, Yang Tae O of Korea, Kichiiro Ogawa of Japan, Chris Wolston of the USA, and Marcelis herself, native of The Netherlands.
