To commemorate the collaborations of several talented designers and photographers, an exhibition and titled _Fashion Together_ is being held at the Fashion Space Gallery in London. The event is curated by Lou Stoppard and explores the relationships between iconic collabs like Rick Owens and Michele Lamy, Vivienne Westwood and Andreas Kronthaler, Alexander McQueen and Shaun Leane, plus many more. _Fashion Together_ will also be showcasing photographic pairs like Mert Atlas and Marcus Piggot, along with Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
“I’m interested in lasting partnerships--the formative, friendships, the unions that exist behind the scenes or the decades long working relationships that have shaped each participant’s vision and life,” Shares Stoppard about her inspiration for the event. The exhibition portrays the artists’ visions and gives the viewers attending the event insight to the ingenious processes creating these collaborative pieces. In addition Lou Stoppard is releasing a book illustrating 18 of the collaborations displayed at the exhibition, giving details and conversation about how artist have worked together.
_Fashion Together_ will be open from September 8, 2017 to January 13, 2018 at the Fashion Space Gallery in London, UK.
