On Friday, February 9th, Tommy Hilfiger debuted the Fall Winter 2024 collection in an intimate showcase beneath the vaulted tile ceilings of the historic Grand Central Oyster Bar. Here, the designer distills a lifetime of memories into the perfect New York Moment. 

The collection is a confession of love to New York, paying homage to its rich past while remaining true to the present. 90s prep classics like rugby polos, varsity jackets, and chinos are modernized with boxier, more relaxed silhouettes and wider trouser legs. Hilfiger’s DNA weaves through the entirety of the collection in his signature Americana shades of red, white, and blue, alongside corduroys and herringbone, pinstripes, camel wool, tweeds, and cable knits.

The evening was replete with vintage charm, from the cocktail menu to the decor. Throughout the night, guests sipped on Old Fashioned's and Tommy’s personal favorite, a classic Martini. The Oyster Bar was adorned with references to the American dreamer’s style: wood-paneled booth seating and pinstriped cushions not only created a cozy atmosphere, but will also benefit the local community through a donation to Material For The Arts.

The show was accompanied by a unique soundtrack curated by Questlove, meant to lead listeners on a sonic journey through New York’s five boroughs. Jon Batiste ended the night on a resounding high with his performance of “Freedom.”
