Z Berg and Ryan Ross 'The Bad List'
This Christmas get your chestnuts roasting by an open fire with some spike egg nog and your dead ex. Wait what? Necrophilia may not be your thing, but how about spending one last day with the ghostly body of your ex? The new video for Z Berg and Ryan Ross’ (formerly of Panic! At The Disco) Christmas single "The Bad List” does just that. The non-traditional holiday song takes on the end of a relationship and is inspired by the two’s past, with an underlying outcry to momentarily bring a dead love back to life.
The sorrowful lyrics coupled by cathartic imagery serve as a companion to Z Berg’s first solo single released this year, "I Fall For The Same Face Every Time." The Los Angeles native and former The Like lead vocalist released four singles this year under the Metropolitan Indian label.
Each single included a music video and special performance known as “Z Berg and Friends” including the prom-themed Highland Park Ebell Center show, a Holiday Show at the Pico Union Project and shows at The Lodge Room and the Bootleg Theater.
Her new release that tells us to “Say goodbye on Christmas Eve” fits perfectly with her new sound described as Goth-romantic and neo-classical.
It makes us think… what if we could see our ex one last time?
