Burberry rolls out their Scarf Bar

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” ―Albert Camus

Though we at the Flaunt HQ battle the Bikram heat of Los Angeles’ unrelenting summer, those fortunate enough to live where September translates to an autumn with temperatures below 98 degrees can cozy up with a customized Burberry scarf of their own design. Burberry is offering a "Scarf Bar" in-stores and online through which you can customize their signature tartan cashmere scarves. You can mull over 40 different color options (pumpkin orange to match your PSL), add unexpected but playful twists such as polka dots or animal print, and top it off with your monogram (XOXO).

Made in Scotland in two traditional mill towns Ayr and Elgin. Each scarf is meticulously crafted by expert artisans who create the finest quality cashmere on traditional looms which are then purified in waters of Ayr and Elgin, and then are scrutinized for quality by hand.

Also for the first time, Burberry introduces new colors, Navy and Parade Red to their iconic heritage trench coats. Though it wasn’t created to become a cult fashion item, Burberry’s iconic trench is a perennial wardrobe mainstay that is functional and luxe. Thomas Burberry invented gabardine as a lightweight, water-resistant material, a jacket as military innovation that has since been copied but never topped. The production of each coat marries traditional technique with modern innovations, each coat undergoes 80 different processes to create a sartorial investment that will never go out of style.
