You might remember them for their hit “[One Time](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upEX2JMp3c0)” which entered the top 40 on US alternative radio in 2015 and counts no less than 14 millions views on Youtube. Their last album, [_Unusual_](https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/unusual/1359228338), released earlier this year, might be the perfect bedroom playlist. In a [Billboard interview](https://www.billboard.com/articles/news/8299774/marian-hill-you-should-know-video-interview), Gongol rightfully said that after listening to their music you should be feeling “sexy and strong and good.” Marian Hill definitely puts you in the mood for a steamy Friday night and gives you just the right amount of confidence you need. Naturally we were curious to know more about the band so we asked them individually: Hey Marian Hill What’s In Your Fridges? **_Jeremy Lloyd:_** IMG\_9592.JPG ![IMG_9592.JPG](https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/56c346b607eaa09d9189a870/1537292795218-M3H3CWZU1E90C0S6SOVY/IMG_9592.JPG) The view from my apartment - we wrote and recorded a lot of our earliest music here, and I still often work at home in my bedroom late into the night. I love to walk to the window on a break and just take in the city - it's a really nice way to clear my mind and be grateful for what I have and the amazing city I live in. They're my weakness and my pride and my girlfriend helped build these shelves with me to show them off a few years ago.  **_Samantha Gongol:_** IMG\_6752.JPG ![IMG_6752.JPG](https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/56c346b607eaa09d9189a870/1537292926402-PTP53YA9WWJWX2C8S47O/IMG_6752.JPG) These are my pillows. I stole the lizard from our green room gift basket at Coachella this year (so maybe not stole)- I haven’t really made the effort to call a place home since we started traveling so much, but the first thing I did when I moved to my new place was source my pillows. My boyfriend Nolan helped me find the large grey pillow from a vintage shop in LA. Some I’ve had longer than others, but the ‘hug me’ has been a staple since I moved to New York. And no particular affinity for highland cows, I just loved it :) IMG\_6749.JPG ![IMG_6749.JPG](https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/56c346b607eaa09d9189a870/1537292978523-WAL0TYNR31SVTGY1535E/IMG_6749.JPG) This guitar has been in my life for a long time. I’m a bad guitar player. But I’ve travelled a lot in the last 10 years and I’ve always had this guitar to keep me company. It’s seen good shows and pretty bad shows haha. I don’t really use it to write songs any more, but I’ve found just playing it helps me settle.  _Marian Hill will be playing_ [_CRSSD Festival_](http://www.crssdfest.com/) _in San Diego on September 29th._ * * * Written By Agathe Pinard
