Curated by co-founder of The Residency B Akerlund, The Residency Experience VIP Showroom includes the work of over 35 designers, and showcases memorable looks on the likes of Nicki Minaj, Kylie Jenner, and more. In addition, the opening day featured installations from both United Nude and Angelyne.
Co-founder Kent Belden asserts that, “The Residency is unlike any other VIP showroom out there as we work closely with my creative management agency, The Only Agency, allowing ample exposure for designers.” He also states that, “Designers at The Residency have had their looks worn by icons including Beyoncé, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Cher, Cardi B, Ozzy Osborne, and so many more.”
The success of their designers has much to do with the founders’ commitment to and investment in the work. Akerlund notes, “Over the years, Kent and I have worked extremely hard to build The Residency into a VIP showroom that gives our brands access to iconic celebrity and editorial opportunities. I am personally invested in each one of our designers, and in turn, that much more passionate about their success.”
Through the thoughtful curation of the exquisite showroom, and an authentic investment in the designers they represent, it is clear that The Residency Experience is by no means ordinary.
