In 2010, Robyn released her first work as a solo artist through the album "Body Talk". For the past eight years, fans around the globe have anticipated the day that Robyn gifts us new music. Today is that day.
Robyn's new single 'Missing U' is out and ready for our ears to bask in the glory of. For over two decades Robyn's career has massively influenced the pop and dance music genre as well as the fanbase. With multiple Grammy nominations and UK top ten singles, her name carries a heavy weight for the lighthearted sounds she produces.
'Missing U' is a dance ballad which touches on the all too real subject of missing the presence of a loved one. It is the notion of one's presence being more apparent once they have left - as if one is more near now that they live in your memories. The single pulls your heart strings while also, in typical Robyn fashion, causes you to dance your heart out.
Through the pent up passion of eight years, a bop is born.
In response to this much anticipated release, director Danilo Parra joined Robyn on a recent trip to New York in order to create a short film which reconnects Robyn and fans at a long standing Robyn club night.
With a short film and new single at our fingertips, we cannot wait to see what more Robyn has for us around the corner.
